Paramedic Program at Allen
NEXT CLASS STARTING JULY 2009!

This 24 month associate degree course is approved by the Kansas Board of EMS and is designed for certified EMT’s interested in providing advanced patient care in the pre-hospital setting.  Students who successfully complete this course are eligible to sit for the Kansas MICTcertification exam and the National EMT-Paramedic certification exam. 

This course requires the following prerequisites: 

1.             Each student must have a valid EMT certification to be  accepted into the program.
2.             Each student must complete BIO 150 – BIOLOGY I.
3.             Each student must complete BIO 257 – Human Anatomy & Physiology.
4.             Students will be required to pass a criminal background check.
