Allen Community College is hosting its annual
Eastern Kansas Baseball
Showcase,Saturday/Sunday, November 22nd and 23rd, 2008 ,
in the Allen Activities Building. The sole intent of the showcase is to provide exposure for High School baseball athletes. All Kansas Universities, and Big 12 Universities have been invited to attend. Additional universities (see registration form) will be invited upon participant request. We expect to have around 40 college coaches and 5 - 10 professional scouts in attendance.
We are charging $40.00 per player to help defray the costs involved in hosting the showcase. Most showcases charge around $200.00. Over 900 players have been invited to attend. We expect around 200 players to participate. This is a great opportunity to gain significant exposure.

NOTE THAT PITCHERS AND CATCHERS ARE SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY INFIELDERS AND OUTFIELDERS ARE SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY. (Please attend only one day.For pitchers & catchers that play another position we will give you the opportunity to display your second position after all of the pitchers have thrown on Saturday.)
Please complete the enclosed registration form and mail it back to my office if you plan to attend. Bring your baseball equipment, including tennis shoes.
Depending on the weather, be prepared for inside and/or outside.
