Allen Community College offers two different types of curriculum's in Agriculture. Students entering the transfer program will continue on into any of the 15 different agriculture degree programs at four-year universities. Students entering the two-year technical program prepare for jobs and careers in the work force upon graduation. Two options in the technical program are Agribusiness and Farm and Ranch Management. Students may select from nearly 30 different courses in available in agriculture.

Transfer Program

This curriculum is a combination of Agriculture and General Education courses that meet the requirements for the first two years of any agriculture field of study at the university. Students completing this program are prepared to enter a university as a junior in numerous fields including Agribusiness, Ag Economics, Ag Education, Ag Journalism, Ag Technology Management, Agronomy, Animal Science, Bakery Science and Mgt., Feed Science & Mgt., Food Science, Horticulture, Milling Science and Mgt., Park Resource Mgt., Pre-Veterinary Medicine, and Recreation and Parks Adm. Trained advisor assist students in selecting courses that meet the requirements of their desired curriculum.
