Benefits of the Ambassador Program:

• Provides you with the opportunity to share your knowledge of the college with prospective students and members of the community

• Exposure to higher education as a possible career choice.

Duties of an Ambassador:

• Provide a minimum of 10 hours of service each semester and participate in all admissions' visitation days (Senior Day, College Fair, etc) .
• Conduct tours of the campus for prospective students and their families, guest, alumni, and friends of the Allen.
• Participate in social, cultural, marketing, and fundraising activities for the Allen.
• Represent the college at community and recruitment events.
• Assist the admissions office with mailings.

Eligibility:

• Must have and maintain a minimum of 2.5 GPA.
• Must be a full-time student.
• Must live on campus or with family within commutable distance.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be punctual, prepared, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible.

Scholarship Opportunity:

• There are several Ambassador Scholarships available for Kansas residents who qualify.
• The scholarship covers tuition and book rental for up to 18 hours per semester.
• An Ambassador on scholarship is required to work in the admissions office a minimum of 4 hours per week.
