What is your local adult education center?

It is a federally, state, and locally funded education program that is committed to helping adults achieve their educational and employment goals. Highly trained professional adult educators use teaching methods, techniques, and materials that are effective with adult learners. State-of-the-art technology enhances more traditional instruction.

Eligibility for enrollment:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Those under 18 must have a disclaimer from the school district in which they live stating that they are not enrolled in school.
• Pre-enrollment is required for all programs
• All potential students must complete orientation.
• Class attendance is mandatory, and attendance policies are enforced.
• Class instruction is free; however, a non-refundable materials fee may be charged.
