WHO WE ARE:
The Red Devil Spirit Program is one of the most visible organizations on the ACCC campus, comprised of the Cheer Squad(s) and "FireStarters" Dance Team.

WHAT WE DO:
The R.D.S.P. has become the support group for the Red Devil men's and women's basketball teams, as it performs sidelines, half-time, and time-out routines at every home game. During the fall, the program supports the Red Devil soccer and volleyball teams. Throughout the year the team also performs at various community and scholastic events throughout Allen County and beyond.
Each summer, the Red Devil cheer squads participate in camp training, in either a private or mass environment. The "FireStarters" participate in a pre-fall workweek and a studio convention, such as L.A.D.F. Tremaine, or Company Dance.
Every year, athletes are selected from the program to become a part of Red Devil Elite, which will represent Allen County Community College in several cheerleading and/or dance team competitions.

COMMITMENT:
Members of the R.D.S.P. practice 3-4 times/week during the normal school year. Optionals are scheduled throughout the entire year. Like other athletic teams, they weight and cardiovascular train for better strength and endurance. Attendance is mandatory at all practices and performances.
The R.D.S.P. comes second only to academics. Allen County Community College is an exemplary academic institution, and our members traditionally are able to balance school and practice very well. All Freshmen athletes and sophomores with a G.P.A. less than 3.0 must attend 3-5 hours of study hall per week.

BUDGET:
The budget allows for all major expenses, however, fundraising may be necessary in some instances, including but not limited to Nationals. The average out-of-pocket expense shall exceed no more than $300 per year.

SCHOLARSHIPS:
Kansas residents may receive scholarships covering tuition and books. Non-Kansas residents should contact the Head Coach for scholarship information.
