Kristen North is from Humboldt High School. Kristen has qualified for the Kansas State High School track and field meet in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles the past two years. “For Kristen to qualify for state the past two years without practicing on a track is remarkable.” “I look forward to seeing her race after she gets in the college atmosphere and used to the training.” “I believe she will respond real quick.” Rachel Martinson is from Shawnee Heights, which is located in Tecumseh, KS. Rachel has qualified for the Kansas State High School track and field meet in the past two years. “Rachel is an athlete that we are going to lean on to help jump start our women’s program.” “Her attitude and work ethic will help get things moving in the right direction for our program.”

Scott Carney is from a 1A school Sylvan Grove, KS. Scott was a placed 18th this past year at the State Cross Country Meet. Scott also placed 7th in the 3200m Run at State as a junior. “Scott has a lot of untapped potential and I believe under the system that I run, he will see big improvements his first year here.” “I’m really looking forward to coaching Scott.” David Marsh is from a 2A school Belleville High School, located in Belleville, KS. David placed 7th in the class 3A 3200m Run as a junior. “David is going to give us a boost next year for our distance crew.” “David is a strong runner that I believe will excel at the further distances in college.” “David will fit in just nicely with what I want to do here at Allen.”

Mason Benn is from Nevada High School which is located in Nevada, MO. Mason is a State X-Country qualifier for Class 3 Missouri. “Mason is a strong runner with great ability in the middle distance/distance events.” “Mason has that leadership that we lacked this past year.” Caleb Smith is from Solomon High school which is located in Solomon, KS. Caleb placed 10th at this years 2A State X-Country Meet. Caleb also was a State track qualifier in the 3200m run as well as the 1600m run respectively. “The thing I liked most about Caleb was his attitude.” “He has to be the most positive recruit I’ve talked to, so far this year.” “Caleb is going to bring in that attitude that we needed last year.”
