1st Annual Cowley County Snowball Invite

February 9th, we competed at the 1st Annual Cowley County Snowball Invite which was held outdoors due to the recent string of nice weather. They ran off indoor events as well as some outdoor events. We had our first qualifier for nationals as well. Chase Bradley hit the 60m Dash time running a blistering 6.84 which puts him 6th in the Nation. Chase has really turned it on of late. You can see it in his practices, he’s starting to peak at the right time. I’m extremely impressed with how Chase has come along. With a team as young as ours, he is becoming one of our leaders both on the track and off of it. Chase finished 3rd in the 400m later on that day running 51.93 into a strong wind. We will be looking to Chase for big points at Conference. Phillip Dale had his farther jump of the year at 21’5.5”. Phil is starting to put jumps together, and I see him stepping up big for us at Conference. Harry had his best time in the 200m Dash so far this year running a time of 22.86 as well as ran 7.04 for the 60m Dash. Since we were outdoors, they ran off Javelin and we had two competitors in that as well. Daniel Colina threw 171-6 and Colby Segraves threw 140-8. Daniel is only 6inches away from qualifying for Outdoor Nationals.
