Agriculture and Natural Resources

Allen’s Agriculture and Natural Resources associate degree prepares students for successful transfer to university agricultural programs by providing foundational knowledge and experience in agriculture and natural resources.  Students pursuing an associate degree in agriculture and natural resources are prepared to complete a wide variety of agricultural degree programs such as agribusiness, agriculture communications, agriculture education, agronomy, animal science, ag technology management, food science, natural resource management, and veterinary medicine.

The degree track is a sequence of recommended agriculture and general education courses designed to meet most requirements for the first two years of study for agriculture and natural resources offered by Kansas universities, so that students may transfer into the university at the junior level.  Graduation with this degree helps to assure that successful transition.
