Allen’s associate degree in Physics prepares students for successful transfer to university study by providing a solid foundation in physics and pre-engineering studies. With a degree in Physics, students’ career goals may focus toward engineering, research, medicine, education, military, or national defense.

The degree track is a sequence of recommended physical science and general education courses designed to meet most Physics degree requirements for the first two years of study for Kansas Board of Regents universities, so that students may transfer upon degree completion and enter university study at the junior level.  Graduation with this degree helps to assure that successful transition.
