Allen’s associate degree in Pre-Medicine prepares students for successful transfer to university study by providing a foundation in biology and pre-medicine studies. With a degree in Pre-Medicine, students’ career goals may focus toward medicine, microbiology, biotechnology, ecology, or natural resource management.

The degree track is a sequence of recommended life science and general education courses designed to meet most Pre-Medicine degree requirements for the first two years of study for Kansas Board of Regents universities, so that students may transfer upon degree completion and enter university study at the junior level.  Graduation with this degree helps to assure that successful transition.
