Associate in Science with an Emphasis in Cybersecurity

Allen’s Cybersecurity degree prepares students for careers in information technology and cybersecurity. Allen is a Cisco Networking Academy. Allen students are prepared to work in positions in computer management and support services, software development and application support, network administration and maintenance, and e-commerce.  Information technology courses in the program include:

  • CIS109 Introduction to Computer Programming
  • CIS110 Cybersecurity Essentials
  • CIS113 Linux Essentials
  • CIS215 Ethical Hacking.

The Associate in Science with an Emphasis in Cybersecurity degree track is a sequence of recommended courses designed to meet most degree requirements for the first two years of study at most Kansas Board of Regents universities.

Students may also pursue an  Associate in Applied Science in Information Networking Technology at Allen. This degree is designed for the students who are interested in taking additional technology-based course work.
